Made of high-strength 20crmnti alloy steel for reliable hardness and tensile resistance, the Gripper Wedge is usually split into 2 or 3 pieces. This split design boosts its contact area with the anchoring point and the inner part of the anchorage gripper main body, creating stronger friction to prevent slipping during use, even when bearing heavy loads or under sudden pulling force from falls.

Its surface is processed for wear and corrosion resistance, matching the anchorage gripper’s overall surface treatment (such as galvanizing or powder coating) to adapt to humid construction sites, outdoor wet environments and even mild chemical working conditions, without easy wear or rust affecting the gripping effect.

The wedge features a precision-machined tooth form on the contact surface, which bites into the anchoring point tightly when locked, and it protrudes slightly from the anchorage gripper main body after installation for full engagement.
