Two or more workpieces are closely joined together by using rivets. The advantages of riveted parts include high connection strength, non-destructive material, suitable for connection between different materials, easy operation and no filling material. Riveted parts can be classified according to their structure and application. For example, solid riveting is suitable for occasions where the plate thickness is small and the structure is not too complex, such as furniture, mechanical equipment and electronic components.

How to use

A cylinder with a raised end when the rivet is not installed. When fixed, rivets longer than the workpiece will be selected. When fixed, the rivet tail will be inserted into the hole of the workpiece processed in advance. Due to the longer rivet, the tail will highlight a short section of the workpiece, and finally, the tool will hammer the tail part flat, which will expand to about 1.5 times the original diameter of the rivet.

After the rivets are fixed, the two sides have a raised part, so it can withstand the tension load parallel to the rivets, but the screws and bolts are more suitable for use in the case of tension load, and the rivets are more suitable for bearing its vertical shear load.
