The Wedge Post Tensioning Ground Anchor, with its unique self-locking anchoring principle, has become a core solution in the fields of geotechnical engineering and structural reinforcement for achieving high load-bearing capacity and high reliability.
(1)Tighter and tighter
When the steel strands are subjected to tension, the Wedge Post Tensioning Ground Anchor will naturally slide towards the smaller end of the anchor plate's cone hole, resulting in a deeper engagement. Unlike some anchor devices, this one will not loosen over time. This self-locking feature is particularly useful in slope reinforcement and deep foundation pit support, and the load fluctuations will not cause loosening.
(2)Simple structure
On-site installation does not require special tools. Workers thread the steel strands into the anchor plates, insert the wedge blocks, and use jacks to tension them to the designed value. After the pressure is released, the wedge blocks will automatically fix themselves.
(3)Highly applicable
Whether it is 7-strand steel strands or single high-strength reinforcing bars, as long as the corresponding wedge pieces are replaced, the same set of anchor plates can be compatible. Construction units do not need to prepare a bunch of anchor devices for each type of steel strands, thus saving costs.
(4)Effective anti-corrosion performance
Permanently anchor the waveguide in the free section, fill the tube with grease, seal the anchor head with a protective cover, and it will remain stainless for several decades.
(1)What types of Wedge Post Tensioning Ground Anchor do you offer? Two-piece or three-piece?
We offer two types: two-piece (one-time working anchor) and three-piece (reusable tool anchor).
(2)Is it necessary to use special tools for installing the wedge block of the anchor?
No. With the standard tensioning jack and the limit plate, the wedge block can be pushed into the cone hole of the anchor plate and self-lock. For tool anchors, a special anchor removal tool can be used for disassembly. We can provide installation guidance videos or on-site training.
(3)Could you provide a 1000-hour salt spray test report?
Yes. Our Dacromet coated wedges and galvanized anchor plates, tested according to the ASTM B117 standard for neutral salt spray, showed no rust after 1000 hours. The salt spray test for regular electro-galvanized products lasts approximately 72 hours.
