Structural composition: Head + Solid cylindrical rod + Flat tail end, with no holes on the rod body.
Installation structure: Use a riveting gun or hammer to deform the tail section to form a boss. The boss is circular or in the shape of a flat mushroom, and it fits with the other side of the workpiece. After installation, the rod part completely fills the prefabricated holes, with high connection strength, suitable for metal structures and heavy-load applications.
Structural composition: Head + Hollow rod. The end of the rod has a hole or groove, and the thickness of the rod wall is uniform.
Installation structure: During installation, a special riveting machine is used. The end of the hollow rod is curled outward to form a rolled edge or a trumpet-shaped head. The head is in close contact with the surface of the workpiece, but there is a shallow hole in the center. This structure requires less riveting force and is suitable for soft materials such as thin plates, plastics, and leather, without over-stressing the workpiece.

After installation: The tail undergoes permanent deformation. The head of the solid rivet is a solid circular disc; the head of the hollow rivet is a rolled edge ring. The heads of both structures remain unchanged in their flat and round shape.
