We produce Two Fold Wedge Lock Washer with automated production lines. Standard raw materials are processed to make washers with accurate dimensions.
(1)Raw material preparation and processing
We use high-strength alloy steel strip and stainless steel strip as the base material. The materials are treated with annealing and pickling to adjust their internal crystal structure.
(2)Stamping forming
Carried out in a multi-station precision press.
Drilling: Drilling the central hole for the washer.
Gear forming: Through the precise cooperation of the upper and lower molds, radially fine teeth on the outer ring are formed on one side.
Wedge-shaped surface forming: Using a special mold, wedge-shaped tooth surfaces that determine the locking performance are pressed out on the other side.
Shearing: Shearing off the formed washer from the steel sheet.

(3)Hardening heat treatment
The washer is heated uniformly to a specific high temperature, then rapidly quenched, and immediately followed by tempering treatment.
(4)Surface coating treatment
For carbon steel Two Fold Wedge Lock Washer, the most recommended high-performance solution is Dacromet. The high-quality coating will enhance the protection and wear resistance of the Two Fold Wedge Lock Washer.
(5)Quality inspection and testing
Raw material analysis: Conduct spectral analysis on each incoming batch of materials to verify the chemical composition.
Process inspection: During the stamping process, ensure dimensional stability.
Hardness test: Randomly inspect whether the Two Fold Wedge Lock Washer meet the design standards.
Salt spray test: To verify the corrosion resistance of the coating.
Lateral vibration test: Install the washer at the standard bolt connection point, and monitor the attenuation of its clamping force under continuous vibration.
