Screw Wood Countersunk Slotted Steel Black Oxide do not require regular oiling and maintenance like bearings. The maintenance mainly focuses on three aspects: rust prevention, checking for looseness, and post-disassembly assessment.

1.Anti-rust protection

Carbon steel screws will rust eventually, it's just a matter of time.

Indoor dry environment: Blackened or galvanized screws are generally fine. If you find any rust, wipe it off with a dry cloth and apply a little bit of anti-rust oil.

Indoor humid environment: It is recommended to use stainless steel screws from the very beginning.

Outdoors: Carbon steel screws need to be inspected regularly. If they get rusty, they should be replaced with stainless steel ones.
