For ship equipment, the Elastic Pin Locks are usually made of stainless steel or galvanized materials - so that they won't rust due to seawater. These locking pins are used for securing, docking and fixing marine mechanical devices. They can prevent water from entering and won't rust, thus performing well in the harsh marine environment.
In the retail sector - that is, in the category of goods that ordinary people purchase on a daily basis - Elastic Pin Locks are very popular in DIY projects, assembling furniture, and outdoor equipment. They are not expensive and are easy to use, so household users often choose to use them when they need to fix items. The packaging sold in the store comes in a variety of sizes and colors to suit the needs of different scenarios.
Q: What’s the lifespan of your lock pins, and do you offer any warranty if they break or fail early?
A: The service life of the Elastic Pin Lock mainly depends on the material and usage. Under normal use conditions, its service life is usually 3-5 years.
Stainless steel pins near saltwater—like on boats or docks—can go up to 5 years since they don’t rust easily. The high-strength steel ones used in construction, say for scaffolding, usually last around 3–4 years. If you clean them after using them in dirty or wet conditions, they might even last longer.
All our lock pins come with a 1-year warranty. If one breaks or doesn’t work within a year—and it wasn’t because it was overloaded or misused—we’ll replace it or give you your money back.
To make a claim, just send us some photos of the pin and your order number. We’ll sort it out within 3–5 business days.
We really stand by our products—you shouldn’t have to stress about them failing early. They’re made to last.
