Although the Ultra Reliable Aircraft Steel Wire Rope may have a galvanized coating to prevent corrosion, the main way we protect them from moisture is through packaging.
The reels and the boxes containing them are sealed. If you need it, we can also add a desiccant pack and waterproof outer packaging for you - an extra layer of protection, so you don't have to worry about your items getting wet or the packaging being damaged. This ensures that the aircraft wire ropes are not affected by rain, humidity, and condensation during transportation or storage. Thus, there will be no surface corrosion - as this corrosion could lead to wear over time or affect their installation and usage.
The quality control of the steel wire used in aircraft is a very rigorous process - it begins with certified aerospace-grade raw materials, and we can trace every step of the source of these raw materials.
From drawing the steel wire to twisting the strands and completing the cable production, each step is strictly monitored by precise tools. We use statistical process control (SPC) and strict tests to check key indicators such as diameter, strand length, the weight it can withstand before breaking, and flexibility.
As a result, each meter of aircraft steel wire can meet the exact standards required - this is very important because these steel wires are used in safety-critical work environments.

Q:How do you ensure corrosion resistance in harsh environments?
A:Our Ultra Reliable Aircraft Steel Wire Rope utilizes high-grade stainless steel and optional specialized coatings for enhanced protection. There is a layer of "passivation oxide film" on the surface of stainless steel, which can help it prevent oxidation and rust; if it encounters a particularly harsh environment (such as long-term high temperature, contact with highly corrosive liquids), it can be given an additional layer of treatment to make it more resistant to damage. This ensures the Ultra-Reliable Aircraft steel wire rope maintains reliability in salt-laden or humid aviation environments without compromising strength.
