Compared with traditional bolts, the design of the Bolt Rectangular Head offers significant engineering advantages:
(1)Greater bearing area and stronger uplift resistance
The supporting area of the head of the Bolt Rectangular Head is larger than that of the ordinary circular head. This enables the clamping force to be evenly distributed and reduces the pressure. It can be used to enhance the wind resistance.
(2)Excellent anti-rotation and anti-loosening performance
The head precisely matches the T-slot or the fixture groove, forming a mechanical lock. This ensures that the bolt will not rotate during the tightening of the nut.
(3)Quick installation and positioning
The bolt only needs to slide the head into the slot, without the need for any auxiliary tools. It can be positioned and locked at any location.
(1)Size range
There are many specifications available, ranging from M5 to M100 Bolt Rectangular Head (all in metric units). Multiple length options are available. The head size is also customized according to the specific application requirements of the customers or standard specifications.
(2)Material and Strength
Carbon steel: Offers high cost-effectiveness, with strength grades of 4.6, 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9. The highest grade can reach 12.9, which represents ultra-high strength.
Alloy steel: Suitable for applications requiring higher strength and better impact resistance.
Stainless steel: Commonly available in 304 and 316 grades, offering outstanding corrosion resistance.
(3)Surface treatment
Electro-galvanizing: A cost-effective basic rust prevention solution.
Hot-dip galvanizing: Offers a thicker coating, suitable for harsh environments such as outdoors.
Phosphating/Blackening: The basic rust prevention in an indoor dry environment.
Others: Such as nickel, duralumin, etc., to meet specific requirements for corrosion resistance or appearance.

The transportation of Bolt Rectangular Head mainly involves two key points: rust prevention and moisture protection, as well as packaging reinforcement.
(1)Anti-rust and anti-humidity
Usually, during transportation, a combination of inner rust-proof bags and outer cardboard boxes is adopted. For large-scale export goods, wooden pallets that have undergone fumigation treatment are used for packaging.
The high humidity and salt fog environment during maritime transportation is the main risk. To prevent the Bolt Rectangular Head from rusting and to keep them dry, VCI gas-phase rust prevention bags/papers are commonly used, or bolts that have undergone hot-dip galvanizing also need to be packaged together.
(2)Package reinforcement
Over 90% of the fasteners are transported by container shipping. It is more cost-effective to use full container loads (FCL) for large quantities; while less than full loads (LCL) are used for smaller quantities.
