One end of slotted raised countersunk head tapping screw is a semi-sunken head with a slot and a certain curvature; the other end is a threaded rod that can drill its own threads in the material without the need for pre-drilling. It can handle most common usage scenarios.

Its self-drilling thread design is very ingenious. The pitch and tooth profile have been carefully considered. It can easily drill threads on various materials, and the formed threaded connections are very strong and unlikely to loosen. The angle and shape of the semi-sunken part are all standard, and they can perfectly adapt to common installation requirements.
The top of the slotted raised countersunk head tapping screws is slightly dome-shaped, with a flat head groove on the top, but the bottom is inclined to be level with the bottom of the screw. This small dome design increases the support force of the screw head while remaining almost flat. The head of this screw is stronger than a standard countersunk screw and sits flush with the items being joined.
Slotted countersunk head self-tapping screws have a more attractive appearance than ordinary countersunk screws. The top of the screw head is lower, but it can still be screwed in smoothly. Due to the slots on the screw head, a flat-head screwdriver is required. They are often used in furniture assembly, cabinet hardware, or any situation where a smooth surface is needed but the head needs to be more sturdy.
Slotted raised countersunk head tapping screws can achieve a flush installation appearance while having a slightly higher head height. The small dome provides additional material, making the head more sturdy and the slot deeper (less prone to peeling). Self-drilling in materials such as medium-density fiberboard (MDF) or softer metals, the head remains intact.
