【1】Installation

（1）Tool selection

Use the dedicated External Circlip Pliers. The jaw diameter must match the pinhole of the Lock Washers External Circlip Retaining Rings.

（2）Installation direction

When fitting the ring, put the sharp side facing the direction where the pressure will come from.You can tell the difference just by looking or touching: the stamped side is sharp, and the other side is smooth.

（3）Installation steps

Put the Lock Washers External Circlip Retaining Rings into the two holes of the ring, stretch the external circlip open just enough to slip over the shaft.Set the ring into the groove on the shaft, then slowly loosen the pliers.The ring will spring back and lock firmly into the bottom of the groove.

（4）Avoid over-expansion

The expansion amount should be just enough to allow the retaining ring to pass through the shaft - excessive expansion will cause plastic deformation. It is recommended to use a special pliers with limit screws.

（5）Check after installation

Make sure the retaining ring is fully seated inside the shaft groove, and it can turn freely without sticking.

（6）Check the size before fitting

Before installation, confirm the bearing and shaft groove size match the retaining ring you are going to use.

【2】Disassembly

（1）Tool selection

Use the external lock spring pliers, insert the plier tip into the plier hole, and expand the Lock Washers External Circlip Retaining Rings.

（2）Safety protection

When removing the small spring clip, the elasticity is high - it is recommended to place the workpiece in a transparent plastic bag before operating to prevent the retaining ring from flying off and getting lost.

（3）Cannot use alternative tools

It is prohibited to use flat-head screwdrivers or other hard-pulling methods. This will cause permanent deformation of the retaining ring and may also damage the edge of the shaft groove.
