The Cross Recessed Hex Type Head Bolt with Indentation with China Xiaoguo® is a self-tapping fastener designed for "flexible installation and large torque transmission".Its head has three designs: a cross slot, which facilitates the quick positioning of screwdrivers; an external hexagon, which can be supported by a socket or wrench for high torque; and a concave cavity at the center of the head, which enhances the structural strength of the head.It is equipped with self-tapping threads. When screwed in, it can automatically cut internal threads on the workpiece, eliminating the need for threading. This Cross Recessed Hex Type Head Bolt with Indentation is widely used for fixing the electrical enclosure, car interiors, mechanical equipment, and building doors and windows. It is particularly suitable for situations that require "pre-positioning + high-torque locking".

1.Customized size

Taper nominal diameter: Adjustable between ST2.9 and ST8. Customization is also available for non-standard sizes.

Length: 4 mm to 120 mm

Head size: The width, height, depth of the cross slot, and diameter of the depression of the hexagonal head can all be adjusted.

Thread length: The default is full thread, and half thread can also be provided.

2.Material customization

For carbon steel, we usually use 10B21 – it’s good for surface hardening. For stainless, 304 takes care of rust, and 316 works better for seawater. You can also go with brass, aluminum, or titanium, but we’d have to look at the quantity and the process.

3.Heat treatment and hardness customization

We have standard hardness, but we can adjust the process if you need it harder or softer. For core hardness: lower it if you want more toughness, raise it if you need better shear resistance. Torque damage? Yeah, that’s customizable too.

4.Surface treatment customization

Electro-galvanizing: Blue-white, yellow zinc, black zinc, with thickness adjustable from 5 to 12 μm.

Mechanical galvanizing: No risk of hydrogen embrittlement, suitable for high-strength components.

Dacrol: Zinc-aluminum coating, salt spray test ≥ 1000 hours.

Blackening: Suitable only for indoor dry environments, with the lowest cost.

Phosphating: Dark gray color, excellent oil retention property, suitable for assembly with lubrication requirements.

Teflon coating: Anti-stick, high-temperature resistant, used in special working conditions.
